ERR. i'm so crap at updating......it's probably a good sin though, because not posting usually means that i'm busy doing other fun things. I am still constantly checking in on the happenings on my flist though.
ANYHOO in lieu of an actual update, here is what I'm wearing today-

(apologies for mediocre photobooth pic)This whole outfit is unusually ~edgy~ for me. I LOVE the hat (and hats in general atm) and keep trying to wear it out I feel like a right failing hipster wannabe? SIGH.
In my eternal self doubt I seem to be asking everyone and their mum this, but what do you lot think? Am I working it?
1. If there was one thing about your body you could change, what would it be?
tummy fer sure. I can totally live with everything else, but I'd like a more defined waist.
2. Would you rather lose 10lbs or 10 points off your IQ?
is it just me overthinking it or does this seem oddly worded? is it either/or or just general? I'd rather keep the IQ points than lose the wight, honestly. that said, 10 lbs isn't THAT much, although I would trade 30lbs for 30 points either.
3. When you look in the mirror, are you happy with what you see?
eh, I don't back away in horror or self loathing, which is better than most. my body image has been gradually improving anyway since I've started getting healthier...I think I'm just more appreciative of what its capable of.
4. Have you ever dyed your hair?
many, many times. I'll probably stick with what I've got now for a while though.
5. How often do you weigh yourself?
Over the summer, not at all. but before that, once a week. Hopefully I'll get back into the habit.

someone put this gif in a comment on ONTD and you have no idea how much it made me lol. it was in reference to nick jonas, which made it even funnier. lately i'm totally feeling this about lee pace....i've only seen the first ep of Pushing Daisies, but I just watched The Fall and Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day and what. a. man.
Completely panicking about all the books I need to read before classes start (enrol on the 22nd,ohmydayz) and I'm finding new and interesting ways to procrastinate, including making lemon curd and rearranging my room, and spending stupid amounts of time on ebay. Spent about 2hrs in the que for the Liberty sample sale on Saturday, afraid it was kind of a letdown....there were some beautiful printed men's shirts but they didnt look quite right...I actually had a massive pile of stuff before I realised I'd gone mental and ended up with a pretty tooled leather adress book (£5 down from £55, stupid, stupid money)
ALSO bought a bunch of faux fur in Lewisham for my Wild Thing costume (I'm going to a Where The Wild Things Are fancy dress party in a couple of weeks! waheyyy) i've set up a blogspot blog as well now, which I'm trying to keep pretty regularly, so feel freeto add/follow me n whatnot :)
So I've been back a little over week now. Definitely missing everyone, its been such a great summer and I really loved my routine, my people, my town. The main thing I missed was really just my friends, socialising generally and a proper shower (although showering outdoors can actually be quite nice). Even though I love London, Goldsmiths, and my friends, and just England generally I can really imagine having a proper life there. OR if I missed city life too much, living in Boston. Woodsy New England boys are also wicked cute, hollaaaaa.
That said, I'm loving being back as well. Wandering around Southwark, going to the Roald Dahl exhibit with Rhea, helping Mia move into her new digs and just having constant giggles with everyone is excellent.
Other highlights include watching The Fall (OMG the MOST EXCELLENT film I have seen for a long while) and Rhee and I baking a red velvet cake-

( I have prettier pics but these make me happy and get the vacation vibe across :) )

So, since I'm tired and generally pushed for time, here's the bulk of my lengthy wall post to deborah in lieu of an entry-
Particularly loving-
-constant sunshine
-taking long early morning walks along the beach
-organic pancake batter in a tube.( squirts out like whipped cream! WICKEDDD)
-cinderella birthday cake
-the awesome stuff at daytrip society (google it to check out their website)
-as much jonas brothers/twilight/disney/chuck norris/lonely island memorabilia as a girl could wish for
-my whole family, but especially my cousins
-puppies and horses and cats everywhere i go
-the general loveliness of people here, including complete strangers, which I always manage to forget
PEACE OUT.
having a proper mental busy summery time of it here. mum's still in the midst of the reunion but having a grand time, i'm usually at the beach at least once a day and pulling long hours at the hippie store, i'm running the whole show 9.30-9.00 tomorrow, which seems a bit overly trusting. a young man came in enquiring about a job and he was SO YOUR TYPE. eeeeepic hair, but gave off kind of a gay vibe, BUM. missing everyone loads but kind of don't ever want to leave atm, its all too beautiful and i feel so chill when i'm here....like i feel great about life even when i'm exhausted and sunburnt and covered in mosquito bites and reallyreally need to shave.

OFF TO MAINE TOMORROOOOOOW YAAAAAAY. unbelievably excited, i wish i could just click my heels and be there.
As of 2 days ago, I am no longer a teenager, sadface :(
However, celebrating with deborah and mia in paris was aces. The best parts were probably Versailles (MOST especially Marie Antoinette's estate, omg it it might be worth dying young for that) and Les Puces flea market. Mostly bought postcards, since I had v. little to spend and knew my birthday was coming up anyway.
Mia and Mum ended up picking out the exact same prez for me, which was pretty lolz.. It was completely unexpected as well- I'd asked for one from mum at xmas and she kept going on that it was a boring thing to get and that she'd just buy me one anyway when she had the time/money but never did, and I'd never so much as mentioned it to Mia (birthday faerie Rhea directed her to my epic Amazon wishlist, haha). Anyhooo, since Mia nearly got it for herself anyway, we had a swap and she got one as an early birthday present.

The one minor weirdness was Deborah having this thing about having a proper hot meal during the day? and being really tired in the evenings and not usually wanting to go out? You always get acquainted with people's quirks when you travel with them, but it kind of threw me for a loop a few times. I've known Mia for so long that trips with her are totally chill. We usually like doing the same things, and when we differ I can always count on her to be sensible and straightforward, and since I see Deborah all the time during termtime I didn't figure it would be much different.

ALSO since its been baaaare time since I posted,

Bad Times:
Having my wallet stolen in Islington, and the ensuing hassle of reporting it to the police station and spending far too long on the phone w/ natwest trying to cancel my cards.
Good Times:
Lily taking me out to Bruno and Wagamama to cheer me up.
Finding a $10 iTunes US gift card I thought I'd lost hidden in an old notebook. Any recs for what I should spend it on?
Lovebox TOMORROWWWW.
Enjoying Half Blood Prince FAR more than I thought I would on opening day w/ everyone, and spending the day lolz-ing at films and rediscovering my old music collection.
M&S selling key lime pie!
BIRTHDAY PICNIC ON MONDAY.

Overall, a good night. We were right around the front and my height meant I was pretty much being swept in whatever way the crowd moved, but I managed to stay upright :)
There was some minor tension when I shouted at some creeps who were pushing people and being complete pervs to girls, the comment that i'd 'be good in a porn film' was nothing compared to the girls behind me who were getting properly groped up, ick. I personally would have punched them in the jeans.
Kid British were excellent...I think I do have a full pic of the whole band, but I forgot to upload and I can't be asked now.

aaaand Kid Cudi came on for a duet (that sounds wrong?erk) with Mr Hudson, aaand they sang Day & NIght as well, which was ace as everyone just got really into it.

but really, for me, it was all about KANYE, who took a break from interning at Gap to perform a few songs (no Goldigger, alas)

why don't more boys dress like this? hm.

man, i know he's a douche but i do think he's rather brilliant. They sang Heartless, Paranoid and Supernova.
and lastly, some of the stuff I bought in PARIS:

Laduree tote, Marc by Marc Jacobs purse, Laduree box, passionfruit deodorant, Elle a Table, postcards, Jalouse, CD, books from Shakespeare and Co., Bourjouis minty foot deodorant (niiice, lol. They do a whole line of Shampoo/Showergel Deodorants in France), Mint syrup, violet candy, solid violet perfume stick, and violet pastilles in a pretty violet tin!

hey allllll
once again trying to get my act together in my futile quest to record my small little life.....just finished lesley arfin's 'dear diary' which was simultaneously horrifying, nostalgia inducing and hilarious, which motivated me a bit to get back to LJ.

That said, the last time I used my livejournal as a 'proper' honest journal it was a diff username, mostly for venting, and i got myself in trubz for it a few times, ah well. I also only tended to use when nothing was going on and I was bummed/pissed off, in typical 15 year old fashion.
Been home for about a week from Paris, feels like proper holls now. I might go back for a bit on Thursday, but it feels like suddenly I have noo time in LDN before the big paris trip and going to the states, which I'm obv UBER excited about but still.
Paris was pretty epic, i put the 122 'best' paris pics in an fb album for anyone's enjoyment.

I'm actually not a massive fan Frenchy food, or at least most of the high class stuff, so all my proper 'gourmande' experiences were with desserts- raspberrry rose and bitter cocoa sorbet from berthillon, yuss, violet religeuse, posh tea, lavender marshmallows. Did the whole Champs-Elysees, Rue St honore thing....Colette was awesome, but pretty much as expected. APC was also lovelovelove, but even with the sales on lightly out of my price range. I bought a bunch of fun bits though that i'll post on ths sooon. I also bought Slimy's new album, anyone heard of him? He's like a French Mika type, for want of a better comparison.
Also RAN my SECOND race for life over the weekend...made the 5k in 43 minutes, whch I didnt think was too bad. Got my first, and hopefully only, sunburn of the summer. It hasnt been sore or itchy, mostly amusing because of the funny t-shaped mark my sports bra left on my back. It was even better this time round....it was a bigger race, and because it was a wide open space there were supporters and you could see where you were heading, and I was just really happy that I managed to more or less jog the whole distance, and I don't know if I could have really done that last year? or at least not without being totes out of it at the end.
Heading out to the iTunes festival laterz...one of my mates is insufferably well connected and has gon every night, and has a spare ticket for me tonight...so off I go to see Mr Hudson and Kid British. There's a rumour that Kanye might show, but I'm not keeping my hopes up for that. I think my head would explode with lolz if he did.
I'm wearin zees outfit, which I didnt get to fully enjoy last time I wore coz I was sick as a dogggg. and i wore lipstick and everything!

Things I want to do atm-
-book Lovebox tkts
-make margarita ice cream.
-go to berlin, dublin. Prob not this month but maybe september before uni starts up?
-have lots of picnics, particularly a pre-birthday one.
-go to sketch
-try on and mock/buy up all the beth ditto stuff :D
-get a haircut...
-go to versailles!go kiss oscar wilde' grave!
-keep making moneys off of ebay
-get my ppq for oli stuff in the post today!!
-see if I can wrangle heading to New York on the way to Maine this xmas! (this is actually more of a general goal, like carrying on with the working out etc)
So it feels like summer is officilally here, (as much as it can be) and my first year of uni is OFFICIALLY over. I think I should've maybe gotten a bit more involved, which I did a bit towards the end, but otherwise its been a pretty ace time. Saturday was nice, went to the Drama Soc's perfromances at the Amersham, went to the Art private view and had coffee and cake with Lily, as well as picking up some ace threads on Deptford HIgh St for a pound each! yusss. Other highlights of the month were the Race for Life, the Summer Ball ( super fun and cool and worth the ticket price, until I got sick and max and ob showed up and were incredibly crap. Redonkulously jealous of all the UCL kids for having Calvin Harris, wah) and stalking Jason Segel (Saw nearly the whole cast of Gulliver's Travels filming in Greenwich!) and booking tickets to Maine and Paris- going for the first time on Wednesday! Wait, have I even mentioned Star Trek? God its been too long since I last posted properly.
Diet & gym going pretty well, even though I was uber ill last week and hence let myself go -I keep meaning to make a ths post and have been taking photos for for a while now, but I realised I've lost about 10 pounds since I took some of them :O I actually bought some size 14 high waisted jeans today, zomg, i *squeed*. I'm continuing to be highly irresponsible and spend what little ash I have on clothes etc, which needs to stop not only because I'm skint, but also because stuff I bought not that long ago. I finally got round to wearing my pixelated New Look dress on a night out and it kept sliding down. ISN'T LIFE A BITCH? haha.
over and out.

- Music:i'm just a girl - no doubt

Carrying on with the musical theme of my last post, I just watched Glee online . Some of you have probably spotted it on ONTD or Perez etc, but I just caught the first 'preview' episode online (they aren't showing the rest until september in the states, who knows when it'll come here!) and it was EPIC. Its about a young teacher who takes over the Glee Club (kind of an american song-and-dance, musical type club for high school kids) its got really funny characters, and charlie from heroes/ugly betty is in it, and the hilar jane lynch, but its really all about the young cast. I just dowloaded the song from the end and can't stop listening to it. I kinda love a bit of Journey anyway, so properly loving it uppp.
If you're in London, or even if you aren't, PLEASE go see Spring Awakening this weekend before it closes. I finally went to see it yesterday and it was AMAZING. The cast are so immensely talented and ballsy, the staging is fantastically inventive and I LOVED the songs. By the end, I was completely involved emotionally.

over and out.
Having such good times now exams are over! been doing lots of crafts, dancing, hanging out with friends. we went to see star trek on sunday and stopped at Paul for a pistachio macaron. It was all a bit too awesome. Yesterday was actually the first time I've really just had the chance to laze about. plus, since the moan-y post a while back, my diets gone back on track. there are still weeks where i don't lose, but usually its around 2lbs a week, which is pretty ace. tbh, i don't really see a difference yet, but i can ~feel~ it, and other people seem to see it.
the only bummer is that the job search is kinda 'meh' atm. to be fair, most of the deadlines for them havent closed yet, so i could totally still hear back from some of them, but its just a hassle. There's a couple I feel pretty confident about, but I don't want to jinx it by writing about em :)
I've registered to do another Race for Life event with the gals from the Goldsmiths W.I.- we're just gonna walk it, so it shouldn't be too bad at all. Actually realy excited about it, and I've managed to raise 125 quid so far!. I ALSO got all the options I wanted for next year, which means I'm doing Moderns, Shakespeare, Sensibility and Romanticism, and 'Inventing the Nation' (19th century American Lit).
I also got the 'John Hughes Yearbook Collection' in the mail today (!!!!), it has my 3 fave Brat Pack films in it- Sixteen Candles, The Brakfast Club and Weird Science. Pretty in Pink and St. Elmo's Fire can suck it, imo.
anyhoo, thats all. i was going to mention how fit Rupert Grint was but then I remembered I already have, lol. More exciting post with pics later!

After a couple hours of poetry revision in senate house, i spent the afternoon pouring over a pile of overpriced mags in the Starbucks in Borders. perfection :)
I'm totally girl-crushing on the Olivia Thirlby/Kat Dennings shoot in Nylon, they both look super fab. I thought Kat was great in Nick & Nora, which was such an adorable film, I totally envy her for looking like a brunette ScarJo 2.0, and of course she gets points for dating the cute dorky guy from Criminal Minds, yeahhh.

Bought my ticket for the summer ball- did I mention OB and Max from Hollyoaks were 'headlining' as dj's? So wrong, but I actually am a bit excited to see them, love me some Hollyoaks. Also trying to think of ways to incorporate the Alice in Wonderland theme into my outfit without going full-on fancy dress.
Lastly, how BRILLIANT is this ring form Urban Outfitters US? Out of stock atm, but I will make it mine.

the past week has been a complete daze of revision, sunshine, crafts and handing in work, but just finished my first exam and i actually feel GOOD. i totally lucked out on the first two questions, which i'd totally revised for, and the section C one was fine too. Adorbs boy was sitting next to me, but he started munching on his cuticles halfway through the exam, arghhh, distracting muchy noises, ack!
My bff Mia got into St. Martins! woop. completely deserved, she's brilliant at design. She applied there for foundation after being assured she get in and got rejected, then for degree last year, made it to the final six jockeying for five places, and didnt get in, so she took a gap and did a tonne of work and interning, and then got an email from UCAS telling her she didnt make it...but then last week they phoned her saying there'd been a mistake and she got accepted! mentalllllllll.
Bought an ace denim jacket from Matalan and went at it with the embroidery thread, here's a bit of it-

and some other bits of fun:

more later once i've got a chance, bbz.

I've got a 3000 word essay which I've barely started due Tuesday, so why not alleviate the stress by a lengthy update?
Things I have been up to over the past month-

attempting retro hairstyles via youtube tutorials...

freaking out over seeing han solo at the O2. there were ewoks there as well, wawaweewaaa.

My essay is vaguely fairy-tale related (I'm discussing Angela Carter's The Bloody Chamber) so i stumbled across this while at the library. It' even got illustrations!

Headed to scout posh charity shops around north london with Mia last week, and we just ended up ambling around hampstead heath and primrose hill in the summer sunshine, it was pretty ace.

Keats' house!

Trees were blossoming EVERYWHERE. When I'm all grown up and in the money, this is definitely where I wanna move to. We passed this gorge brick house over grown with lilacs, and the owner had painted the door to match!

bff's, clearly.

we were standing here, messing about with the camera whennnn...

Alan Carr walked by! He was thisclose, seriously.
We walked down towards Regent's Park, and walked all the way through..

This really IS my favourite season.
The London marathon passes by right down the road from my house. I can see it from my window, but went for a closer look

I get really happy/emotional whenever I see someone running for a particular cause. In the past couple of weeks, I've been using the treadmill more at the gym, and this inspired me to take part in the Race for Life around Blackheath in July. With mum being a survivor, and knowing quite a few people who've suffered from/ are living with cancer (who doesn't, really , these days?) it's obviously a cause close to my heart. I sponsored a couple mates who did it last year and went to watch and found myself getting really emotional when I was there. I'm so excited to take part this year, and I'm really serious about training up for it. I'm pretty much using any outlet possible to beggg for support, so here's my fundraising page just in case! :)
Also, it's motivating me to gym it up and be as healthy as poss, which is good! in the diet news, Iost another 2 pounds last week, so big WOOP for making some progress! Other than that, spent most of the week in sunny parks, avoiding work, having a few drinks, and reading.
Yesterday, went to Brick Lane w/ Mia and Izz to hit up the 'Secret Sample Sale'...it was mostly a bust. Mia found some stuff by a menswear designer she really likes, but for the most part, all the big-name designer stuff was still out of my price range, and the other stuff was just meh. But lots of fun was to be had trying on crazy stuff in beyond retro, bagels, and grabbing retro treats at All Star Lanes (CHERRY CREAM SODAAA)

tbh, i kinda wish i'd bought this, its so fun to look at, and it actually fit really well.

So all in all, good times! Oh, and I just finished re-watching Pride and Prejudice, after reading Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. LOVE Matthew McFadyen.

So a few hours ago I decided to take a bath, put on a nice dress and restart my day (i think my earlier mindset wasn't helped that I didnt get to sleep till 4am and therefore felt kind of nasty)
I've been feeling rather nostalgic for the 90s recently; I love how all the things I thought were the BOMB as a 7 year old are back in this year. Anyway, while surfing the blogoshpere earlier, one of my very favourite pastimes, i happened upon What Claudia Wore.
OMGOMGOMGOMG you have NO IDEA the amount of joy and lolz it has brought into my life today. I'm sure most girls of the 90's read a Babysitter's Club at some point, and I was most definitely one of them. my ten year old self was ALL ABOUT the Babysitter's Club and Jacqueline Wilson (oh, to be 13 and cooool). Goosebumps creeped me out though, Iwas am quite the wimp.
Anyhoo, Kim, the genius behind WCW, uses the series, most especially Claudia (the Japanese-American, ~creative~, and therefore my fave, one who wore ker-azy multicoloured layered ensembles and made her own kitschy jewellery), as a springboard for blogging about fashion, rehashing the books with hilar commentary, w/ in depth descriptions and musings on the spectacular ensembles worn by the girls. Here are a couple of choice Claudia quotes, wtih asides from Kim:
"I guess you could say I am a student of fashion, too. I like clothes: colors, textures, surprises. (Which makes me a sort of ongoing work of art, I guess.) But I do think I have a unique style, and a good one, too. In fact (although this may sound conceited [you've earned it, no worries]), except for one other person at SMS, I think I am the fashion czar, or czarina, or whatever. This other person is Stacey, who is my best friend and the treasurer of the Baby-sitters Club.".
She gave me a sideways glance and then said, 'If I got a pair of purple high-tops, could I do that?'
'Only if you have ankle socks with lavender lace trim.'"
"On Saturday afternoon I stood in my closet, staring at my clothes. Normally, I don't mind being in the closet. [Neither does Zac Efron.] But the usual closet rules that make it interesting - avoid wearing the exact same outfit twice [Adult Claudia probably has a lot of credit card debt], be outrageous [truly, truly, truly outrageous], and look cool AND terrific - didn't exactly apply today."
Claudia Kishi, what a ledge. Now I've got the urge to break out the fimo and make myself some super kawai earrings.

This whole dieting business is getting really disparaging;
Since january, I've lost nearly a stone, but for the past few weeks, hardly anything seems to be coming off. The whole business of PCOS and my weird hormone issues mean that the progress is slower for me than most people, but its getting ridiculous. I go to the gym at least 3 times a week, do massive amounts of cardio and then resistance, but I just can't seem to find the right balance. I've cut my calories down more, I've stepped up my workout in terms of the levels and the time I spend, but nada. With the exception of one drink, I've pretty much cut out alcohol now as well because I seemed sensitive to it, and anytime I've treated myself I've balanced it out with lots of veg and exercise, and with the exception of some easter treats, I really haven't been eating that many simple carbs.
On the plus side, I've lost about an inch of my waist and 2 inches off my hips, so I guess all isn't lost, but weighing in today just got me really down about it all....I'm having my thyroid checked again to see if its not something to do with that, especially with my weird ovaries and the fact that mum and sue are having constant hormone probs, and of course I could be retaining in some other way, or I could have built up more muscle, but I just feel that considering I've spent 2 hours at the gym four days a week for the past two weeks, burning an averidge of about 900 cals (i know those machines can't be that accurate, but stillll) I should have lsot more than 0.4 kilos :(
I guess I just really wanted to vent out my frustrations a little, idk if anyone has any great tips? I got some subscription deal for Elle a couple weeks ago and just got the new issue today, and it had an article about a blogger who tried the whole Lighterlife thing, and one about dieting for your bodyshape which totally adressed my problem (appazza I shouldn't overexercise because then my body will store more fat in my hips etc? idk, i smell bs...but some of the other comments, like what kind of workouts i excel at etc, were spot on, so I'm going to try and follow some of its pointers), so I'm trying to take a little inspiration from that and not just wallow.
Other than that, Easter holls have been pretty great. I haven't done much work or revision at all, so I'm starting to feel a bit of pressure, but there have been plenty of fun times with mates, craft fairs, customising and bargain shopping. I also bought the best bra ever from M&S yesterday. Its pretty basic but I find it so hard to find bras that fit perfectly, especially convertible/strapless one, so major score.
Other things that cheer me up-
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (just started reading it today)
Cheap Asda dresses
Sunshine!
Zac Efron (while i found HSM immensely entertaining, I'm only really jumping on the bandwagon now.
He seems like such a little gent, and I love the GQ photoshoot)
Miley Cyrus not being a twatface for once and coming out in support of gay marriage via twitter & perezhilton.
Paris! Mum went last week and found a place....stuff should be moved in by the 11th of May, OMGOMGOMG.
Macaroons from Paris:

Old things being new again...for instance, I dug this romper out of Mum's closet at the granparents a while back, finally got round to trying it out. Might be a bit too much, but its super comfy and I like it :)

As much as its a bummer not to see Jack and Rory this summer, I'm kind of happy that I'll get to have time here to get a job an earn some money for fun stuff, like Bestival and summer clothes.
Also, has anyone seen Rupert Grin the trailer for Cherrybomb or his feature in Blag? When did Ron Weasley get, dare I say it, a bit fit?

Spent the afternoon traipsing around lewisham in comfy clothes after getting incredibly drunk at the last Club Sandwich last night. I recall having a pretty good time although my memory is disappointingly fuzzy. I continued the spending spree I started yesterday (highlights.....

....booze money etc) and bough a top and earrings from matalan and this dress from new look, although the picture doesn't really give you an idea of how incredibly BRIGHT it is, and how flattering and fierce it is. I'm trying to get people together to go out tomorrow night just so i have an excuse to wear it. Going to be missing everyone as they head home, but I'm also stoked for everyone else to return to London.
Went to Cybercandy over the (lovely and summery) weekend and bought Nerds Rope, Lifesavers and Tootsie Pops, happy happy times indeed....also getting excited about the Summer Ball, which is set to have an Alice and Wonderland theme. There's rumours abound that Blur are playing (most of them went to G'smiths, don't you know), which would be AWESOME, but i'm not pinning to much hope on that.
Anyway, apart from that I'm just agonizing over a few unrequited and very silly crushes, reshuffling the decor of my room (put some nifty gold floral wall stickers from ikea to use cheering up my closet doors, and finally put up my 'keep calm and carry on' poster, making summer plans (PARIS!), and pining after cool junk from the urban outfitters US website:

Seriously, this summer's batch of movies looks brilliant, especially 500 days of Summer. GAWD, i love joseph gordon-levitt. and zooey too.
keep listening to 'thirteen' by big star on repeat, what a lovely song. I'm reading 'the penelopiad' for class on monday; its a reinterpretation of the odyssey/the illiad, told from penelope's point of view. loving my greek mythology and feminism.
